Double Falls is a fabulous destination for hiking and camping in a cool, mossy forest of the southern Sawtooth Range. The easy hike to the falls reveals two dramatic descents of whitewater, making a 30-foot total drop. It’s a long haul on good gravel roads to reach the trailhead, but the transitioning landscapes in the Rocky Mountain Front are outstanding, and you have a chance of seeing a diversity of wildlife.
