Situated near the south shore of Lake Como, Little Rock Creek Falls tumbles for 75 feet down a narrow, rocky canyon in multiple cascades. This lakeside hike can be combined with the Rock Creek Falls hike to complete an 8-mile loop around the entire lake, but the out-and-back jaunt is also very rewarding. This lake-side hike can be combined with the Rock Creek Falls hike to complete an 8-mile loop around the entire lake, but the out-and-back jaunt is also very rewarding. On the way, backpackers will enjoy primitive campsites scattered along Lake Como’s sandy beaches. Since the falls are barely visible from the trail, an off-trail approach is recommended for experienced hikers and requires scrambling up steep forest scrub, boulders, and deadfall for a quarter mile.
