Without a doubt, Dawn Mist Falls is one of the most powerful and scenic waterfalls in Montana. It is situated in a beautiful and less-traveled region of Glacier Park that abounds with wildlife and offers a variety of terrain. The trail drops to the Belly River for a couple miles and then heads up the valley through forests and occasional meadows. After almost six miles of hiking, a side trail to the first backcountry campsite, Gable Creek Campground, appears on your right at a gorgeous view of the colorful rock ridges of Gable Mountain.
