The best way to approach Yaak Falls is along a small path leaving the campground. The sound of raging water masks the noise of the nearby highway. Because of the easy access, the falls can be busy during the summer. But there is still plenty of room to find a place to sit and contemplate the beauty. Whitewater kayakers often begin their descent of the Yaak River just below the falls.
