Lower West Fork Yaak Falls is a scenic destination for a short, family hike. Stroll peacefully through a diverse array of old-growth trees to a viewing platform over the creek. The 25-foot waterfall plummets through columns of sedimentary rock and into a deep and inviting pool. There is a rugged path to the bottom for swimmers’ access as well as places for children to wade in the creek near the trailhead.

The falls trail is a great for everyone. I am disabled person and must use a cane to walk and can do this trail with moderate effort. It's a great short walk to the beautiful falls that has a lookout deck with safety rails. Great for the famy! We just walked the trail in about 2 inches of snow with our dog.
