The Sprague Pond Loop follows Burnt Ledge south between swampy lowlands. The trail crosses a small stream that flows out of a bog and cascades down rounded bedrock, then drops down from the falls to Sprague Pond, a spring-fed pond surrounded by thick woods. The return hike crosses and follows several ledges, including one with a view of the surrounding country and another covered with blueberries.
