Few parks can compare to Stony Creek Metropark when it comes to nature trails. Nearly half the park, from 28 Mile Road to 31 Mile, is laced with trails. The Habitat Trail near the nature center begins near Stony Creek but then widens out to include oak savanna and mixed hardwood forest. Using a short connector, you can also add a 3.5-mile loop north of Inwood Road.
