As summertime brings high temperatures, Utahns head for higher elevations. For years, outdoors enthusiasts and heat refugees alike have been coming to Fish Lake for its crisp air and chilly waters. There are 40 campsites at Bowery Creek that welcome them each season with simple accommodations and a perfect location just minutes from the lake’s shore. There’s no easy way to describe the configuration of this campground. Two access points lie along the main road, which arcs into a diamondlike loop and sprouts a triangle zigzag with a baby pyramid at one end and a circle at the other—the classic arched-diamond-ziggy triangasphere.
