This is at the upper end of “easy” because it is pretty steep down and up, but the trail isn’t very long. You can make a detour of only a few minutes to look over the Cliff Trail viewpoint first, then pass the ridge that blocks your view to the south in order to get a look at Waipo’o Falls, invisible from the Cliff Trail, from the Pu’u’hinahina Lookout. You have to share the view with lots of people who have “hiked” only a few feet from a nearby parking lot, but you have the satisfaction of the journey as well as a bonus: an excellent view of forbidden Ni’ihau Island.
