The hike follows the rocky east shore of Kidney Pond to Jackson Landing. From there, you hike over a small hill to marsh-fringed Celia Pond. The trail continues out of Baxter State Park to the larger Jackson Pond. Across Jackson Pond, Doubletop and Moose Mountains can be seen. To the east, you can see Mount O-J-I.

Hiking Maine's Baxter State Park

The hike follows the rocky east shore of Kidney Pond to Jackson Landing. From there, you hike over a small hill to marsh-fringed Celia Pond. The trail continues out of Baxter State Park to the larger Jackson Pond. Across Jackson Pond, Doubletop and Moose Mountains can be seen. To the east, you can see Mount O-J-I.
