Plotting this loop was a no-brainer: for the most part, it follows the course of the Sierra Vista National Scenic Byway (so designated by the US Forest Service). It also follows most of the route of a great autumn ride called the Grizzly Century. The scenery is very nearly as grand as it is in nearby Yosemite Valley.
