This out-and-back ride explores the west shore of the lake, heading from the south end near South Lake Tahoe to the north end near Tahoe City. You could ride it one-way using a car shuttle, but most people will do the round-trip. Of course, as with any out-and-back, you can turn around whenever you’ve had your ?ll. The public parking lot on the south shore is just one of many similar park-related spots where you can stash a vehicle.
