Sonoma and Napa counties are next-door neighbors on the map, but in the real world they are separated by steep, rumpled ridges running along their border. Riding over this humpbacked landscape is a challenge.
This ride tackles those rugged ridges again and again. It’s about as hard as an 81-mile ride can be. But there is a way to cut the ride down to 52 miles, which makes it, if not exactly easy, at least a bit more manageable.
