The White Ridge Bike Trails, formerly known as the White Mesa Trails, are a hidden geologist’s, paleontologist’s, and mountain biker’s dream. Located just a short drive north of Albuquerque and just minutes outside San Ysidro, the White Ridge area is known for its unique white gypsum trails, hence the name White Ridge. Everything from fossils to petrified trees and exposed ridgelines can be found in the White Ridge Trails area.
