The San Francisco Bayfront Break is a flat ride that hugs the bayfront on the west side of the San Francisco Bay. The ride starts in Burlingame and travels through San Mateo before making a loop through Foster City and returning to Burlingame via San Mateo. Nearly the entire ride is on exclusive bicycle paths, with the exception of a surface-street segment through Foster City. The ride hits a couple of popular bayfront parks, including the Coyote Point County Recreation Area and Seal Point Park. This may be the most consistently windy ride in this book, but the scenery should offer some relief for the exertion.
