Tucked obscurely into an upper tributary of Zuma called Newton Canyon is a pint-sized but charming waterfall accessible by a mere half mile of hiking. Kids will enjoy this little trek, and their parents may feel the same as long as the kids duly observe a couple of safety rules, e.g., watch out for rattlesnakes and don’t get too close to precipices.
