On this looping hike, you’ll explore hardy little pockets of oak woodland, and also get a close look at the marine sedimentary bedrock of the Puente Hills, which dates back 15–30 million years. Mostly this consists of silty, layered deposits, but you’ll also find some conglomerate rock in the ravines.
