Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, is a beautiful residential community in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County, named for the famous crossing General George Washington made on Christmas night 1776. This area is a mix of residential community and farmland, and as long as you don’t mind a few hills, it is a fun area to explore. The ride starts by Washington Crossing State Park. This is the area where Washington made his crossing of the Delaware River and marched to Trenton to defeat the Hessian troops there. It was one of the major victories in the war. To start the ride you will make a left out of the parking lot onto PA 532 and then make a left onto PA 32 (River Road).
