Don’t expect any dramatic plunges here. Lillian Falls is a true cascade-style waterfall, tumbling slowly and gradually over a series of rocks and boulders for roughly 70 to 100 feet. Along the way, however, you can expect to be stopped in your tracks by ancient stands of old growth. From the trailhead, climb steadily for 1.2 miles to a spot where the trail reaches a creek, switches back sharply to the left, and launches up. At the switchback walk off trail and down to the creek and the base of Lillian Falls. There’s no good spot to get a look at the whole thing, so take in what you can and enjoy the walk back to the trailhead.
