Sunrise Park is slightly removed from Mount Rainier and has better views (not to mention better weather) because of it. The only requirement for this tour is road access to White River Campground. The only difference between the two starts is that one puts the climb at the beginning of the tour and the other puts it at the end. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; routefinding required; permit / fee area.
