Park Butte offers excellent runs on slopes of many aspects and a spectacular vantage for viewing Mount Baker Twin Sisters. Late in spring, as the snowpack diminishes, snowmobiles are excluded from Schreibers Meadow and the approach becomes more manageable. The result is a pleasant ski tour in spring conditions. Difficulties: Moderate avalanche potential; permit / fee area.

Park Butte Trail #603 - The trail bridge over Rocky Creek was destroyed. Additionally, Rocky Creek moved about 100 yards to the west. A new bridge will be needed to cross this creek.
