Delancey Ridge lies north of State Route 20, just across the valley from Silver Star Mountain. Aspen glades and avalanche chutes form south-facing powder caches that, in stable conditions, permit a full day of yo-yo skiing within a few hours of the road. There are many choices here, but only two are described. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; permit / fee area.
