Snowshoe through some of the oldest, most beautiful ancient forest left in Washington’s Cascades while enjoying views of the rolling, crashing waters of the milky Nisqually River. Families will appreciate the nearly flat, easy trek through the trees along the first half of the route, while those with an appetite for more adventure will enjoy the last half of the hike as it skirts the base of a steep slope, climbs steadily along the rushing river, and passes a pair of pretty waterfalls on its way to Paradise River Camp.
