The Winter Wonder Land loop shouldn’t be too hard on you. It is really the easiest way to enjoy the wonderful valley scenery on skis. Other easy loops follow similar gently rolling terrain to the north. Advanced or expert skiers may want to take on the ridge trails. All are accessed from the Blackhawk Trail, which turns south off of Winter Wonder Land and up the 250-foot bluffs. In all, there are another 12 miles of ski trails here. Surface quality: Groomed, single tracked, skate lane.
