Single track mountain biking came to Cam-Rock Park recently in the form of a gnarly (bike-speak), twisty, narrow trail that gets amazing linear distance from a very compact wooded area. Snowshoers have discovered the fun of tramping this little trail in winter. At the trailhead you have a grand view of the Rockdale Millpond and the Cam-Rock 2 ski trails on the far shore. The slope in front of the shelter is popular for sledding. Kids can drop 100 feet if they don’t get bounced off first. To get to the single track, you’ll follow a groomed ski trail for a short distance. Snowshoeing on ski trails is not allowed, so stay off to the right side. Surface quality: Ungroomed, snowshoer packed.

This is a nice area to snowshoe in but the trail is very hard to follow in winter. We ended up having to retrace our steps a couple of times.
