The Meadow Trail will not take you to the top, but two other trails — the 5.8-mile Kettle View and the 7-mile Moraine Ridge—will. They both return on the same screaming, 230-foot downhill run. Lapham Peak’s staff has done a wonderful job with the trails, which are popular with all types of skiers. Good, dependable trail grooming is part of it. The wide trails leave plenty of room for anyone to maneuver. Double tracking on the lower trails means striders can ski side by side. The trailhead and ridge-top warming shelters make the area very hospitable. Another plus at Lapham Peak are snowshoe trails located on the west side of County Highway C. Surface quality: Groomed frequently, double tracked, skate lane. Fees: yes.

Wonderfully groomed and well-marked. Well described in guide. Ski rentals available onsite from Wheel & Sprocket. Night and torchlight skiing available some evenings.

At this time the trails are not snow covered they are soggy. If they were snow covered they would be also very good for snow shoeing.
