Lawnmower takes you on a ride to the outskirts of the Cottonwood Valley. It starts at the parking lot in Blue Diamond, climbs The Old Spanish Trail, and then takes a connector trail that eventually hooks up with the Landmine Loop, before veering off to South Cut. From here the trail climbs high onto a hill that offers great views of the Las Vegas Valley and the Cottonwood trail system. From the parking lot, pull out onto Castalia Street and turn left heading to Cottonwood Drive. Turn left again and follow Cottonwood Drive. A right turn on Cerrito Street will lead you to the trailhead at the top of the hill. Cerrito Street is a bit of a climb and you’ll know you’ve found the trailhead when asphalt turns to dirt.
