The trails at Bootleg Canyon are laid out in such a way that you can start at one trail and connect with just about every other trail without ever having to get off your bike. This allows you to take shorter trails and turn them into longer trails to extend your ride. However, it can be difficult to know which trails work best to connect and what skill level is needed for each trail. In order to help with this dilemma, I have created several combinations of trails that are commonly ridden by mountain bikers at Bootleg Canyon. The Figure 8 is a combination that is a fun, easy ride. If you are a beginning to intermediate rider, this is a good combination to try when you’re ready for a longer ride.
