Bootleg Canyon is just that, a canyon—one that is divided into two halves by a dirt road. On the west side of the canyon you’ll find the more cross-country-style rides: Mother, West Leg, Girl Scout, POW, IMBA, and Par None. To the back of the canyon, on the desert floor where the canyon ends, lie Caldera and Inner Caldera. While there are some cross-country-style rides on the east side of the canyon—namely the Middle, Upper, and Lower Lake View trails—the east side, especially the upper portion of the canyon, is home to the many downhill trails that have helped put Bootleg on the map.
