This is a wonderful training run because it offers such a variety of terrain, as well as considerable climbing and descending. The singletrack technical sections require focus, the long climbs require strength and mental toughness, and the long descents require agility and balance. The terrain also includes short sections of scree—ball-bearing-size rocks—that may cause slipping or sliding, especially on the descents. Head west on Gold Camp Road, which is not accessible to cars, approximately 0.7 mile to the trailhead on the right for Seven Bridges (the second junction to the right). Follow this mostly singletrack trail, which travels adjacent to North Cheyenne Creek and is rocky and tree-rooted in sections, over seven bridges (aptly signed with the respective number).
