New Mexico is not as well known for its arches as nearby Utah. However, arches like Anasazi Arch are nothing to shrug your shoulders at. The very short hike to the arch requires a drive out into the New Mexico oil fields, some rock scrambling, and even a little route finding. What seems like a short and sweet hike requires a little effort that is well worth it. Hikers with an adventurous spirit can explore for hours after locating the arch.
