This trail in the Raven Cliffs Wilderness Area is one of the more popular hikes in the Georgia mountains. If you want a solitary experience, it is best to walk it during the week or in winter. On weekends from spring through fall, it gets moderately heavy use. The trail follows a relatively gentle grade along Dodd Creek to Raven Cliffs, which features a waterfall dropping down through a crevice in the tall stone wall. This is a fine trail for family hiking.
