Salem County lies right on the Delaware Bay in the southwestern part of New Jersey. This area is filled with quiet creeks, marshland, and lots of farmland. The pace of life is a little slower here, which makes it a nice place to ride. This ride takes you on a flat, nearly 57-mile loop around the nicer parts of the county. Most of the roads in this ride are quiet backcountry roads that have almost no traffic, but you will pass through a few towns with moderate traffic. There is not much shade on this ride, so avoid it on very hot, humid days.
