The Delaware Water Gap is a cut in the Appalachian Mountains where the Delaware River traverses the ridge. The river in this area is surrounded by the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which comprises more than 70,000 acres of unspoiled wilderness. The gap is a popular place for canoeing, hiking, camping, and fishing. This out-and-back ride takes you through several different regions. There aren’t many roads here, but the ones available are very scenic and a joy to ride. Because this is an out-and-back route, you can adjust the ride to fit whatever distance you are in the mood for.
