This former scout camp turned nature park is laced with trails centered on a pair of lakes. This loop hike explores the 237-acre preserve from head to toe. From the park office you head to Lower Lake, making a near circle around the tarn. Pick up the aptly named Border Trail and circle around the park, passing Upper Lake along the way. The last part of the hike traces Simms Branch, a rocky and scenic stream, back to the trailhead.
