Eagle Rock is an exposed promontory at the end of Big Moose Mountain’s northwest ridge. The hike climbs from Moore’s Bog up and over a shoulder of Big Moose Mountain, then follows the northwest ridge. There is a fair amount of up and down along the ridge with one prominent cliff top overlook. The view from Eagle Rock is well worth the work to get there.
