Springfield Falls is one of the highlights of this hike; the other is the absolutely pristine surroundings along the first stretch. The vast majority of this hike is along remarkably flat terrain, so it’s suitable for all types of hikers, including children and the elderly. Be sure to carry your lunch in with you so that you can take advantage of the park-like setting by the falls.
