The Amargosa Trail snakes its way behind and between many different communities, using land that would otherwise be left vacant. Unlike many of the Green Valley trails, this trail is actually divided into several sections, requiring you to travel on some streets to make the connections. Still, the trail is well-landscaped and is just a fun trail to ride. This $2.2 million trail system winds its way through the back neighborhoods of Green Valley. Except for a couple of short parts, the trail is a wide, two-lane asphalt trail that is well protected from motor vehicles—because they are not allowed on the trail. The trailhead is in Siena Heights Park, which is a little, out-of-the-way park just off St. Rose Parkway.
