Mission Point: Weldon Canyon is a mountain bike ride that starts and finishes at O’Melveny Park in the far northern corner of Los Angeles, just south of Newhall Canyon (gateway to Santa Clarita) in the Granada Hills neighborhood. The ride does not use the trails in the park, though, as most of these are off- limits to bicycles. The ride title refers to a couple of topographic features the rider visits along the way.
