This is a fun little mountain bike course, very hilly, with fast sections throughout. You’d never know it was here.
Of all the mountain biking trails on Cape Cod, this is one of the lesser- known trail systems. Willow Street has no trail signs or trailhead marker, and the trailhead starts under the shadow of an interstate highway next to an exit ramp.
Willow Street is another of those Cape Cod mysteries, part of what I call “hidden Cape Cod,” where an entire world can open up behind a few trees or down an unmarked dirt path. At Willow Street there are almost 15 miles of winding, hilly trails, with some fast sections and a few tough climbs. The mountain bike trails cross sandy fire roads frequently in this abandoned development that was converted to conservation area. You can cross over the fi re roads or ride them. In addition, motocross riders have been using this area for years, so if you hear the engines getting close, be on your guard.
