A hike on a peninsula jutting into a scenic lake, a preserve held by The Nature Conservancy (TNC). The peninsula boasts cliffs and a large freshwater bog. Although Fernalds Neck is close to Camden Hills State Park, it is overlooked by the majority of hikers visiting the area. Here you can find peace and tranquility, a natural area all to yourself. General location: Midcoast Maine, west of Camden in Waldo and Knox counties.
