This lake basin is a gorgeous place to visit, and the thick tree cover and swimming opportunities make for a nice escape on hot days. Getting to the basin, though, involves a somewhat tricky loop with many confusing junctions. There’s a healthy mix of painfully obvious trails and faint little backcountry connector trails.
