Most people drive right by the Peter Skene Ogden trailhead on their way up the long winding road to the Newberry Caldera. Maybe it’s a shame, but selfishly, it means more solitude for us. Here you’ll find a creekside trail through fragrant ponderosa forests, gradually leading up to Paulina Creek’s waterfall at McKay Crossing.
