This 15-mile loop begins and ends at the parking area of the historic Dewey Bridge and incorporates a segment of the heralded Kokopelli’s Trail. Yet the terrain traversed is surprisingly dissimilar to that of the previous ride. Route finding can be tricky, but Kokopelli’s Trail is usually well signed. In the not improbable case that a sign has been removed from a crucial junction, bike tracks can probably be discerned and followed. At the ride’s beginning you’ll pass through a rural subdivision, under development at this writing, so the situation may be slightly different than what is presented here. Soon you’ll come to a canyon of bizarre sandstone formations, resembling whatever your imagination chooses. General location: 34 miles northeast of Moab.
