Bald Mountain has two mountain bike trails in close proximity, though not really connected. This north trail is the more challenging of the two. It’s longer, with hillier terrain, narrower trails, and more obstacles. It has a nice smooth flow and it’s not overly technical, nor are the hills overly long in comparison to some other trails in the region. It’s a great ride for the intermediate biker, yet it can still offer a good day out for the advanced rider as well. Parts of this trail can be muddy after rains and in the spring season. Best of all, this is a beautiful trail to ride.
