This is a short bike path, but as it’s in the largest of all Metroparks in the system, and as it circles a majestic man-made lake and it’s highly popular for good reason, it makes sense to include it among the other, much longer, bike paths in the area. Perhaps just as important is its close tie to the Macomb-Orchard Trail that passes just south of Stony Creek. It offers an option for those riding that rail-trail to spin up the hill into the park and enjoy a different riding experience.
