The rail line that is now the Polly Ann Trail was beset with either misfortune or mismanagement throughout its existence, but we can’t complain. It’s now a very enjoyable and varied rail-trail that weaves its way through the woods, neighborhoods, and fields of Oakland County, past numerous marshes and lakes, the quaint town of Oxford, and the small village of Leonard, and dips its toe into Lapeer County.
