Lakelands could almost be considered two trails in one. From Hamburg to Pinckney it’s mostly paved, and when not, it’s a smooth and pleasant ride on hard-packed dirt or cinder. This is the most popular section and it’s a canopy-covered wooded lane with an occasional bridge over a marsh or river and a few openings for variety.
