The Border-to-Border Trail, or B2B, is an extension of what was once known as the Huron River Bikeway, a 12.5-mile bike path proposed in 1977. It took 11 more years to implement the first 1.5-mile stretch along the river between Fuller Road and Gallup Park. It’s now a valued recreational/commuter connection between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti (Ypsi) that has occasional interaction with vehicles along the roadways. It’s still expanding with new or updated segments on a regular basis.
