One of the city’s true gems, the Springwater Corridor travels roughly 22 miles from Portland to the hamlet of Boring along what used to be a rail line. With just a few exceptions, the well- graded ride is away from street traffic and is quite scenic and relatively peaceful. The path visits numerous parks along the route, making it a great option for visiting Portland’s green spaces. A good part of the ride parallels Johnson Creek, crisscrossing it several times over bridges.
